KMB Pros first started publishing software in 1993.
Originally, the software was written as console programs (MSDOS).
The software archives included video games, image and sound editing, and simple utilities.
KMB Pros started creating GUI software for Windows in 2000.
In 2001, KMB Pros released it's first CNC g-code editing software, G-Code Editor.
It was a simple editor minus the output image.
Less than a year after that, KMB Pros released KMB Trace version 1.
Version 1 included an output image to allow the user to better visualize the cutting path.
Almost every year since, KMB Pros has released a newer version of KMB Trace.
Today, there are over 70 functions built into KMB Trace, and it is the goal of KMB Pros to develop a 3D version of KMB Trace.
True CAM-ware.
Over time, we started developing other types of software at the request of the Beta Testers.
Most of these are machining or manufacturing related software.
- KMB Electrical Calculator
- KMB Conversion Utility
- KMB Machinist Calculator
- KMB Text Compare
- KMB 5S Prize Wheel
Why is KMB Trace free?
We consider KMB Trace to still be in the Beta stage.
At least until we reach our ultimate goal of 3D CAM.
All feedback is extremely important.
This is where we get our ideas of how to improve KMB Trace.
Please enjoy our software, let us know what you think, and come back often for updates and new software.
